Yokogawa Electric Co.*, which was selected for the on-farm experimentation (OFE) in the livestock sector for this project, visited Santa Rosa Campanelli Farm in March 2025, located in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil, to confirm the current status and challenges and explain OFE outline. Yokogawa will conduct an OFE to screen livestock by installing multiple cameras in livestock barns to measure individuals and link the data to individual information, such as age and medical history etc. This approach is expected to have a number of positive effects, such as enabling appropriate feeding for each livestock. The farm is seeking to improve the livestock screening process. Also, have expressed their desire to incorporate economic and market factors into the model so that it can be used to determine the appropriate time to sell livestock. Yokogawa will proceed with the experimentation flexibly, taking into account such additional needs.
